To keep up with the latest modern technology in dissemination of the education material by using the latest advanced equipment, MEDIU’s Deanship of Library Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Najeeb Abbas Al-Sammarraie recently launched an application program that enable the students to browse and download information of the digital library at the fingertips of students. This application program can be used on tablets and handheld devices such as the iPhone and iPad.
The initiative by MEDIU’s Library is aimed to enable the students to get the latest information, to browse the library sources as well as to download a variety of data materials available in MEDIU’s digital database. It is the easiest way to access the information in the digital library which has a capacity of 27,000 books in the form (PDF) and (EPUB) formats.
The new application provides an easy and user friendly navigation tools thus easier for users to download and browse through a selection of books, add or delete their favorite book from the options lists as the book selection is classified according to its genres for easy navigation.
The application can be downloaded via the Apple (App Store); simply by entering the keyword ‘MEDIU LIB’.
