MEDIU plans to open its branch campuses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Kuching, Sarawak to provide more opportunities for communities in both states to continue their studies at the university, where the opening of the new branches will be implemented through a collaborative approach with partners in the respective states.

Its Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Ismawi Zen said he has now received many requests from institutions of higher learning from abroad to collaborate with MEDIU’s online programme.
