Open Day Department of Higher Education, Malaysia with the Egypt-Malaysian students

Al-Madinah International university(MEDIU) participates in the open day and briefing program with the Egypt-Malaysian students on Thursday,12 September 2013 at Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education in Precinct 5,Putrajaya. The session attracted nearly 3,000 Malaysian students studying in Egypt.

The Department of Higher Education collaborates with other private higher education institutions and professional bodies for the session to meet up with the Malaysian students in giving them the opportunity to continue their studies locally. The initiative was to help and create a platform for the Malaysian students in Egypt who was brought back home  due to the unforeseen situations in the Middle East.

Formerly, MEDIU was invited by the Department of Higher Education to attend a special meeting on September 6, 2013 to discuss issues regarding the study of Malaysian students involved as well as a solution to the matter. MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Associate Professor Dr. Hj . Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman stated in the meeting on MEDIU willingness to accommodate 600 places for the students of Al – Azhar to continue their studies via conventional learning method in the University’s which is based in Shah Alam, Selangor .

During the open day, the students and parents were able to have a closer and insight information on the courses and programs offered by MEDIU in the field of Islamic and Arabic studies. MEDIU’s academic module and its subjects information were also being delivered by MEDIU’s Marketing Team, academic deans and lecturers who were mainly originated from the Middle East regions who graduated from the world well-known Islamic universities such as Al-Azhar University, Islamic University of Madinah and University of Jordan.
