An orientation day to welcome MEDIU new students for the semester of February 2013 was held on Friday, 1 February 2013. The orientation program is organized by the Student Affairs Division and was led by the Dean of Students Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Moussa Oumar Keita. The program was held as an introductory to the new students on MEDIU’s rules and regulations on academic and students’ welfare matters.
During the session, the Dean of Student Affairs welcomed the new students and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their studies and have perseverance along the way of gaining knowledge. Asst. Prof. Dr. Moussa Oumar Keita expressed his gratitude for the students overwhelmed supports in choosing MEDIU as their choice in broaden their skills and knowledge. In his speech, he enlightened the students on the modern and advanced technology that the University’s used in delivering their educational resources. Lastly, Dr.Moussa Oumar Keita emphasized on the importance to adhere to MEDIU’s regulations mainly concerning to students’ ethics and class attendance.
At the end of the session, the officers under the Students Affairs Department briefed on the facilities and services provided to the new students as guidelines to assist them on their learning journey in MEDIU.
