Thursday – Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) management personnel led by Dr.Adil El Sheikh, Director of Language Centre, Mr.Khalid Mahamat Idriss Ahmat, Director of Endownment & Learning Centre Department, Mr. Jamaluddin Hussain, MEDIU Marketing Executive and Mr. Majidin Abdullah, Finance Consultant was invited by Open University Malaysia (OUM) Management for a discussion on future potential collaboration with OUM. The discussion session was held at OUM Main Campus in Kuala Lumpur.
The OUM delegations are Mr.Repin Ibrahim, OUM Vice President for Business Development & Human Resources Management, Prof.Dr.Ahmad Hashem, OUM General Technology Department along with Prof.Dr.Yussuf Ahmad and Miss Norasmahan.
The discussions begins at 10:00am and among the topics that are being focus are on common areas and similarities between MEDIU and OUM and future potential areas of collaboration with OUM. This includes on the instructional design courseware technology, potential future mobile-learning for MEDIU, E-Library focusing on digital publications of physical books, manuals and brochures as well as the MEDIU management was brought for a tour at the Centre for Instructional Design & Technology (CiDT) as well as OUM “radio†station to have a closer look on its Online, Open, Distance E-learning via internet medium.
