Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received secondary school teachers and counselors from the Segamat Education District Office on Wednesday, 12 June 2013. The visit was a part of its educational field trip to enable the teachers and counselors to familiarize themselves with the institutions courses and facilities. Thus, later the counselors will then be able to provide students with accurate information about the institution and convince the students in making the right choice for their continuing education. The delegation of students was led by Mr.Rosli bin Puteh; Head of Guidance, Counseling and Students Career Department for the Segamat Education District Office.
The program begins with a welcoming remark on the University’s achievement and brief summary of the University’s objectives were being presented to the guest by Mr. Ahmad Fazrin Yahaya and followed by a welcome remarks by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Student Affairs; Dr. Fadlan Bin Mohd Othman. Later, MEDIU’s academic programs and learning method were presented by Head of Marketing; Mr. Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman. MEDIU’s Digital Library and the Arabic lesson link which is a free application that can be access by anyone provided by the University’s were demonstrated to the teachers and counselors by the MEDIU’s Librarian; Mohamad Nazar Khalighi Sayedi.
At the end of the visit, exchanges of token of appreciation were presented between Mr.Rosli bin Puteh and Dr. Fadlan Bin Mohd Othman. Later, the school teachers and counselors was brought for a short tour to have a closer look at the classes, computer labs, library and other facilities around the University’s learning center.
