On 13thOctober 2011, MEDIU has organized a gathering to present on achievements during the third quarter of 2011. During the gathering, all the quantitative objectives for the third quarter has been presented to all staff include divisions, departments, offices and units with presence of Chief Executive Officer of MEDIU, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Khalifa Al-Tamimi accompanied by all his Deputies, deans of faculties, managers. The CEO of MEDIU stressed up how the teamwork plays an importance role to success. He also asks them to commit seriously towards in achieving the objectives. To motivate the staff to perform, the CEO has expressed his proud to his staff that dedicated and strived in ensuring all the objectives achieved.
The University managed to achieve 83% for the third quarter 2011. In order to increase working spirit and appreciate the effort of the staff, the CEO of MEDIU has rewarded the best staff who has achieved their targets and accomplished their tasks from the month of July, August and September. The best staff of those 3 months goes to:
– Mr. Zainol Azhan from IT Division for July
– Ms. Nor Aizar Abu Bakr from Academic Division for August
– Mr. Muhammad Umar from Student Affairs Division for September
All the winners were given the certificates of appreciation from the management of the university along with cash prizes which is taken from staff welfare fund.
The awards are based on several evaluations from their daily reports, performance and their punctuality with good attendance and observe their performance according to the responsibility.
