Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) receives a delegation from the Islamic Outreach Association (ABIM-Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia) and National Mosque Kuala Lumpur officers on Thursday, 17 December 2009. The delegations are Mrs.Normah Sulaiman, Vice Chairman of the Islamic Outreach, Mr.Mohammad Khairul Ali, UiTM Pulau Pinang Lecturer and Mr.Ahmad Fikri Ismail, Executive of Edcuation and Da’wah Division, National Mosque.
The delegation was received by Deputy Rector of Students Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Habeeb Rahman Ibramsa, Director of Language Centre, Dr Adil El-Sheikh, Acting Dean Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Asst.Prof.Dr.Umar Ibrahim Umar Ridhwan,and English lecturer, Mr.Kuhiri Abu Bakar. Visual presentations of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) were presented to the guests and discussion on possible tie-up between the parties and in particular on the orientation and mentoring programs in the area of advocacy, education and community services. Thus, the co-operation is between MEDIU-National Mosque in terms of spreading dakwah within Malaysia and internationally.
