MEDIU received a delegation visit from the Insaniah University College of Alor Setar, Kedah on Thursday, 7 March 2013. The delegation was led by Deputy Director of University College of Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakaria Man and Director of International Humanitarian Foundation; Dr. Abdul Qadeer Abdul Latif. The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, Deputy CEO of Research and Development; Assoc. Prof Dr Mowafak Abdulla Ahmed Al-Kusairy; Dean of Faculty Finance and Administrative Sciences; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mubarak Munssour Ebodey and General Manager of Al-Madinah International Foundation(MIF); Bahrudin Bin. A Rahman. MEDIU’s Honorable CEO expressed his appreciation and welcomed the delegation to MEDIU.
The visit focused on ways to strengthen the mutual relationship in terms of development cooperation between the two parties. It is also in order to achieve the aspirations of disseminating science and expand knowledge through the easiest with regards to the distance e-learning program that was developed by MEDIU.
With the advent of collaborative relationships between MEDIU and Insaniah University College through cooperation which involves the application of teaching mechanism and method of communicating with graduate students through distance learning. The cooperation is to be implemented as MEDIU is regarded as one of the leading universities in the developing field of distance learning through the use of the latest technology.
