MEDIU received a visit from an Islamic school in Shah Alam, Sekolah Agama Menengah Tinggi Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (SAMTAJ) on Wednesday, 2 May 2012 led by their teacher, Pn.Azamiah Tumiran. The purpose is to visit the library and to approach the students in using the library as a medium for their research and as a resource center for them. This is consistent with the academic approach to the students with Islamic background schools to learn and practice Arabic language in their lives.
MEDIU was represented by the Dean, Library Affairs; Assoc. Prof Dr Amer Alzawbaai which welcomes students to the library and was pleased with the school management to do its research, reference and as well as to enrich their knowledge of the Arabic language. A brief presentation on MEDIU library system and the unique digital library that provides reference book on scientific research in various fields was delivered to the students during the visit.
