Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) recently received a visit from His Excellency the Ambassador of Kuwait; Mr.Munther Al-Aisa on Thursday, 24 May 2012. His Excellency was welcomed by MEDIU’s Rector; Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Deputy Rector, International Relations; Asst. Prof Dr. Ahmad A. Al-Shiha. The purpose of the visit is to seek future cooperation between the two parties in the education field.
The Ambassador expressed his admiration towards MEDIU by stating that the University is “an eye-opener to the Arab world especially in the Gulf”. He was as well impressed with MEDIU’s achievement within a short period of time. MEDIU’s Rector believes that the visit of the Ambassador came within the continuous support of the official institutions from Kuwait.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency the Ambassador of Kuwait expressed his gratitude and admiration of the achievements of the University’s since Kuwait is the most prominent supporters of the university project through the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs which directed number of institutions to support the university such as The Revival of Islamic Heritage Society, Islamic Charitable Organization and Zakat House.
