MEDIU was honored to receive a visit by Mr. Majid Abdullah Al-Rashid, the CEO of Ma’aar Group on 8 April 2011. Ma’aar Group is a property and investment based company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Asst. Prof. Dr. Umar Ibrahim Ahmad Ridhwan.
A detailed explanation and procedures of the e-learning process done by MEDIU were presented to the honored guest by Mr.Sirag Elnour and this was later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities. The guest witnessed the facilities and high tech services provided for students, causing him to be impressed with the distinguished and high level of equipment that MEDIU offers. At the end of the visit, Mr. Majid Abdullah Al-Rashid expressed his admiration to the University’s by writing in the guestbook saying “All thanks goes to Allah alone who has been generous to me by giving me a chance to visit this blessed university. I was greatly pleased with the success that has been achieved in a short period of time. I ask Allah The Most Glorious to bless the ones in charge of this university, especially Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and I also ask Allah The Most Glorious to bless this university so it becomes a landmark of knowledge and that it brings benefit to all the Muslim countries.”
