MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi welcomed an honored visitors from Institution of Modern Guide, Riyadh led by Sheikh Yahya bin Ahmed Al Zamil; Chairman of the Board of Directors along with Sheikh Fahd Bin Salem Bihamam and Mr.Mohammer Noor Khalis on Tuesday, 13 December 2011.
The objectives of the visit is to seek any possible cooperation between the two parties in the technical, scientific and the international reputation of excellence achieved by the University’s at the local level and internationally. The University’s roles with the intellectual community of Islamic students with various types of science, knowledge and armed with the latest modern technical means has attracted them to have more insight on MEDIU.
Explanations on the e-learning process done by MEDIU were presented to the honored guest by Mr. Sirag Elnour; MEDIU Chief Technology Officer and this was later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities. The guest witnessed the facilities and high tech services provided for students, causing him to be impressed with the distinguished and high level of equipment that MEDIU offers.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration to the University’s by writing in the guestbook saying “We have seen and heard on University’s accomplishments and feel overwhelmed and proud with the efforts and successes developed by the Muslims and to serve the people of this nation.”
