MEDIU participated in The International Linguistic Competition of the Arabic Language

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently held an International Linguistic Competition of the Arabic Language organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs on Monday, 20 December 2021 in the conjunction of the celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language.

Four universities participated in the competition namely Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), Kuala Lumpur; Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand; Sultan Azlan Shah University (USAS), Perak and Universitas Al-Azhar (UAI), Indonesia.

Each university consist of two teams to participate; a total of eight teams with five stages and ten various questions in the field of language specialization and in the general language field in each round.

MEDIU’s Team A (Muhammad Nur Fitri bin Omar, Farhana binti Adnan, Nur Adilah binti Muhammad Yusuf and Siti Hanna Balqis binti Md Roduan) won the competition, while Team B (Ahmad Basam bin Nasran, Aqilah Qistina binti Amran, Siti Nur Farhana binti Shamsul and Noorain binti Harun) managed for 4th place of the competition.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) wish to extend their heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the two teams for the victory and wish them more brilliance and excellence in the upcoming competitions.
